Endorsements for Brian Woodland and BrianInspires

Creative. Innovative. Inspired.  Engaged.  These are but a few of the words to describe Brian Woodland and his impact on our delegates.  Brian’s presentations are thoughtful and thought provoking.  He has the innate ability to read his audience and tailors his presentations to encourage, inspire and challenge us to always put first the interests of those whom we serve – our students!

Brian reminds us that we have a part to play. That each of us is here for a reason and that we must take each day to make a difference in the lives of those we interest with.

Brian has the ability to draw his audience in with his enthusiasm and humor, but once the hook is set, he begins his powerful message.  Our members truly enjoyed his entertaining and insightful presentation.

David Luther, Director of Communications, Missouri Association of School Administrators

Brian Woodland... what a dynamic, motivating, and inspiring speaker. Brian delivered an excellent keynote speech during a joint conference between school communication professionals, principals and school superintendents. Brian did an outstanding job of tailoring his message to fit our groups specific need. He was funny, insightful, polished and professional. He really connected with our audience and left them thinking about how they could make changes in both their professional and personal lives. He's not only an amazing speaker, he is an innovator and changer in the industry.

Brian is one of the best speakers you could have keynote your event. He is a wealth of knowledge, has a rich history of working in school PR and leadership, and is funny on top of that! We had Brian lead off at our COSPRA Fall Conference in 2017 and he was such a hit with our members that we have invited him back to present at our 2019 Spring Conference. We had record attendance in Fall 2017 and the feedback from members was off the charts with how much they learned and his topic resonated with them. His wit and wisdom, along with continuously generating new, relevant topics, and connecting him to our event success is just one reason I know we'll continue to bring Brian back for events in the years to come.

Brian Woodland – Real Communications – Right NOW: We have had the opportunity to work with Brian Woodland on various occasions. One of the highlights of his seminars is his ability instill the belief that EFFECTIVE communications is critical to the organization.  Brian can involve and excite his audience immediately. He convinces you that you must have a communications plan and then follow the plan.  Brian really focuses his audience to believe and to START NOW.  To communicate effectively you must have a plan – DO the plan and check the results – adjust as necessary and keep on communicating.

Terry Jewell, Chair, Sturgeon Public School Division

Our members are still referencing Brian’s presentation about branding months later. He has a way of incorporating stories from his own school PR experiences along with humor that captivated our audience.  Our members were given tips and tools they could start using right away.

I remember watching ESPN one day as a kid. Reggie Jackson asked Mark McGwire who he wanted to be like as a kid. He said kids should want to be themselves when they grow up. Always liked that. But forget that guy. I want to be like @brian_woodland when I grow up. #NSPRA2018
